My philosophy

Money isn’t just math — it’s meaning

Most of my clients are smart, capable, high-earning people who feel quietly ashamed that they still can’t get a handle on spending. They’ve tried the budgets, the apps, the willpower. What they haven’t had is a space to look at what money actually means to them — the fear, the comfort, the identity, the old family stories.

That’s the work I do. As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I bring the tools of therapy to your financial life. My role isn’t to judge your bank statements or hand you another spreadsheet. It’s to help you understand the emotions driving your patterns — so change finally feels possible, and lasting.

How I work

  • Language-aware — the words we use about money shape how we feel about it; we notice them together.
  • Mindful & grounded — we slow down enough to catch the feeling before the swipe.
  • Deeply listening — you’re the expert on your own life; I bring perspective and tools.
  • Non-judgemental — no shame about what you earn, spend, or owe.

A little about me

Before I became a therapist, I spent a decade competing as a ballroom and Latin dance athlete. On the floor I learned how completely a partnership rises or falls on communication — and how the same is true of the relationship you have with money. It’s what drew me to this work: creating a safe space to get unstuck, so you can feel safe taking the next step.

Why financial therapy

Money is one of the last things we’re allowed to talk about honestly — even in therapy. I created this practice because high earners who overspend are so often told to”just budget,” when what they really need is to be understood. You don’t have to carry this alone anymore.
